I'm heading over to Sheffield for the final qualifying rounds of this years world c'ships next week, should be a great few days snooker, some great names past and present will be there trying to get to the cruicble,Ken Doherty plays his first match next Thursday, and he could be playing Jimmy White with the winner to play Joe Swail to earn a spot at the cruicble.:)

It will be tough for Ken to get through. Jimmy will be no push over. If he is palying Swail in the last qualifier I won't relly mind who wins. At least Ken is avoiding Dott this time. Ken would need to get through to secure a place in the top 32 I'd say. I'd say Swail must be in danger of dropping out of the top 32 so he will be needing to get through as well. Has Swail qualified for an event this year at all?

Just looking at the results from the last few days. Good to see Brendan O'Donoghue and David Hogan, both of whom play out of Nenagh I think, qualify for the next stage, and it looks like Joe Delaney will be joining them.
