triton shower problem

i have a 18month old triton AS2000X power shower and it developed a fault. When I switch it off, you can hear the motor cut off but the water still flows. It's much more than a simple trickle, it's almost flowing at full power. I would have thought that if the motor is off, the flow would stop, obviously this is not the case. Over night I have had to just leave the shower head on the ground - it's using up obviously significant quantities of water. Help please.

I've seen that before on a different make of shower. A build up of lime in the valve stopped it from closing, you will have to turn it off in the attic(if upstairs) and dismantle to remove the lime. Obviously if you are not confident doing this you may need to call someone in. Sometimes a replacement shower is cheaper than repair.
    Hope this helps.
