    hi guys,

i have set my quit date for next monday but before i do i have to decide which route to take i.e. champix or patches etc.
does anyone know how much they cost, unemployed at the mo so dont have a lot of disposable income (of course will have more once i stop)

anyone else quitting around this time who want to swap contact details to help each other??

    Thanks,

    El Dougie

    Hi there,

I know it is past your quit date, so what did you go with? i have only tried to really quit once and i used the champax.
Unfortunatley, i am back on them but will try again in the future. I dont think i really wanted to give them up at the time. I think you must really want it in the first place. As for the champax I thought they were really good, give you mad dreams but was interesting! my downfall was thinking i could have the odd one with a drink..went downhill from there. It is also important to have something to replace it with, i went to the gym more and felt great so something like that might help. If your unemployed, you may have medical card, if you do you can get them on it. I hope it is going well, good luck!

Great news dougie. Sorry this thread got missed out on - it's important to have support when you quit and this is supposed to be the forum for it.

Keep us informed on your progress - it's a tough time. You're over the 3 day hump which is great. Hope you can keep it going :)
