    Hi All,

Not sure if I'm in the right place but hopefully someone can help. I've downloaded this game for the OH but now realise I need an emulator or something in order to play it. I've had a look on a couple of sites but can't get my head around it all. Can anyone give me a step by step guide in laymans terms as to how I go about this. I've no clue about patches and the like so basically I need a walk-through for a complete novice! Thanks.

    There is a wiki: http://www.ds-xtra.com/DS1942#Download_and_Install_Instructions

What card are you using? You may not have to do the dldi part.

EDIT: link to the emulator on the wiki appears dead, but you can get it here: http://www.dev-fr.org/index.php?topic=4032/0/

    Hi,

I'm no expert on NDS emulators but I'd assume you need the following.
    • 1942 arcade rom (Obviously you own the board!)
    • A Nintendo DS CPS1 emulator
    • A modified Nintendo DS allowing you to run homebrew etc

I will have a look later this evening but maybe someone else will post in the mean time.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies. Basically I just want to play the game on a NDS. I already downloaded it but then when it wouldn't play I googled and came across this http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=47097. I know absolutely nothing about emulators etc, and after reading about them and patches etc, I realise it's not that simple! So...is there any easy way of getting this onto an R4 card without using special tools etc or is it even possible at all?

    Thanks.
