    Has anyone had any experience with Interview coaches??

    Good? Bad? Indifferent? I am thinking about booking a session

    I run a related company, although we don't specialise in interview coaching per se, I believe that there is a lot of merit in using specialists such as Carr Communications etc., ultimately if you feel it will give you an edge it must be worth it.
    My concern in this specific area is that there are basics to interviews, and once these are right everything else will fall into place. Excessive coaching can lead to a situation whereby you are paying more attention to mirroring the body language of the interviewer, holding their eye etc. than listening to the questions.

    The bottom line is that you are not very good at pretending to be somebody else, but world class at being you. Learn the basics, prepare, show up on time and have examples ready for each requirement, and just be yourself.
