Hi lads heading to Portugal in a couple of weeks and i have just checked in online.Going with Ryan Air and as far as i know it's all web check in now,so where do i go to get me tag for the golf clubs or do they still have an area at the airport.I know the question might seem a bit stupid but i have never brought the clubs foreign, come to think of it it's my first time going foreign.:D

I presume you have paid for the clubs to go?;)
You just go to a bag drop desk, hand them your e-ticket, passport etc. they will tag it and then you bring it to the outsize baggage drop - just beside Ryanair desks in Dublin airport. Easy peasy!!!:D

When are you going/ I am heading Algarve direction on 30th March!!

Yeah pretty simple. Just read up on the weights allowed because they will weigh both your luggage and golf bag (separately) and neither can be overweight because each has a strict limit.
You check-in online a few days before you go - print out your own boarding pass.
DONT FORGET to also check in for the return leg and print out that pass too at the same time... saves you the bother of having to find a place to do it out foreign :)
As mini said, go to the airport, go to the check-in area for your flight where they will weigh your stuff and tag em.... your clean underpants go off on the conveyor and you will lug your golf bag over to oversize baggage which is only a 3-putt away. Then you go through security etc...

Have you a flight bag for your gear? Don't need anything fancy... handy if it has little wheels to drag along rather than carry, don't have loose straps hanging all over the place or they might get mangled.... shudder.
I usually bring the small bag on a trip and use a big bag on the trolley at home.

Sorry, just read that you've already checked in... you may not be able to check-in for the return leg yet... not sure how far in advance you can do that but it's handier to do it from home so set a reminder for yourself if you can't do it just yet.
