LAPTOP ADVICE for urban design student

    i am an urban design student so need a decent graphics card for running cs4 photoshop , sketchup and a bit of cad, what is decent??

    also need good ram and a decent size screen??

    price range about 400 pound sterling so 455 euro

    you wont get a decent card for that price....

    I think 700/800 would be the minimum for a pretty decent card.

    I would recommend a Mac especially if you are working with design. They are more expensive but much better suited. I know this may not fit in with your budget but in this case you simply need to raise more money.

    As a student, you should be able to avail of a discount on both Apple and Adobe products. I would also recommend buying up North as you will save more money that way.
