Triple ended usb cable?

Does anyone know if you can connect a usb hard drive to two different things at once? I have a WDTV and an external hard drive connected to it, but to transfer stuff onto it I have to swap it over to the pc. They are almost beside eachother so if I had a 3 way usb, is it possible to have both connected at the same time?

USB Switches do exist.

Pretty rare though, it might put data stored on the disk at risk if you go for the autoswitching version, which would be designed for mice and the like.
