    Hi! Have just bought a 3 bed end terrace that's 40+ years old. Surveyor told me that the wiring needs to be re-done. Anyone know roughly how much this would cost? Would be looking to have an alarm fitted too (none on the property at present)

    if you get the right guy about 3K to 4K should do it, depends on the level of wiring you want, spot lights etc.
