    Well.

I remember there being some discussion of having a website with a google maps and the location of the skirmish sites around the country.

Did this ever get off the ground ?
There was one site that you pay to access - how is that running ?

I had a look at the stickys on the forums but couldnt see such a valuable resource.

Would there be anything wrong with a site like this ? owners do want to be found right ? there isnt any legailty issues, right ?

The IAA can only put up, hence recommend, the venues it has officially inspected and approved. Wouldn't be good for the sport if every half assed site without insurance & trained first aiders was being advertised under an official banner.

I don't think anyone uses that one because sure your miles below HRTA so whats the point?

It should be left to the site owner to advertise their own site anyway no?

To settle this, yes I am trying to set up a new site that will give anyone who pleases all the information they need as far as Airsofting venues, Dates and important Links. And there will not be any adverts cloggin up the site, except on the Links page of the site (maybe)

And as far as the IAA sites are concerned, we plan to have EVERYTHING to do with airsoft on ours. Shops, sites, camo stores, techie spots, everything.

I am only setting it up at the moment, so please bear with me. I have not even contacted any of the retailers or sites yet, so this may be a nonstarter :(

But, fingers crossed, I should have something by the end of the week (maybe) as I am still in school, so don't have a lot of free time.

And mods, please do not ban me for typing this. Just wanted to clarify about the site. Not trying to get free advertising.

And if anyone would like to lodge any opinions (please keep it civil) or recommendations, just use the contact page on the site and I will try to get back to you.

    Thank you

(Closes eyes tight hopeing Lemming is in a good mood today)

I scrolled down but my point is that the average punter wouldn't go further than the first few pages.

Yes I know boards is not here to advertise our sites and again that is also my point, try to keep up boss ;)

and my point was that thread as f all to do with advertising it is simply a central location for direction, and if a guy is not willing to scrol down then he is more than likely to not read rules and stuff like that, hey maybe its natural selection i will play with the people who can be assed boss
