I headed to Watch Louth for the first time in a while playing in the final.
For all who were there,It was one of the worst refereeing to be seen on a field. If I have ever seen a bias ref, it was today.Louth football should feel cheated by the decisions of the red today and the gaa should look at the video.

i was also at the match - up until the last 10 minutes the free count was Louth 32 - DCU 6. Louth also had a player yellow carded for a clear striking offense.

how was he biased against Louth???

the final score was 1-15 to 17 points in favour of DCU

I was at the game and go to most of them , todays ref I thought was one of the better refs we had this year, he let the game flow and let the players mix it a bit, it was always going to be a difficult and tight game because off the heavy conditions.

Fair play and well done to DCU and good luck in the Siegerson next week.

Maybe qc3 was looking at the game through a fog haze caused by too much alcohol, its plain by your post that you should go to more games, just wondering when you went last to see the wee county play.

and i was wondering why we have per conceived ideas about louth supporters here in meath:rolleyes:.bit like the time i refereed a u14 challenge for st fechins they were monstered by half time so i gave them everything in the second half ruling out goals for square balls that werent etc.they mustve lost by about 30 points and one little lad goes after the match jesus ref ya gave us nothing!!!

Free count was very much in Louths favour looking at the stats on the paper today. So what qc3 says makes no sense really.

And btw it was DCU's reserve side mainly that played yesterday. They made 12 changes from the side that won midweek in the Sigerson cup qf. Playing NUI Maynooth on Friday in semi, so thats the big one for them.

I wasnt at the game so I wont comment on it, but as for Joey Curley.... I wouldn't even let him referee 4 young lads playing in the back garden!!!!

highly thought of in meath is joey.though i was reading today he blew for full time when the ball was in play which when you add it to portlaoise's handpass moans makes ya wonder why they expect refs to use one set of rules one week and another the next

    Sounds like bad reffing...AGAIN!!

However, Louth have been the masters of their own downfall on so many occassions...is this really that different??
