    Hi all,

will be easier to answer this if you are a plumber.

I have a stove which will run 5-6 rads,

How do i (if possible) incorporate a stove with back boiler in to a oil central heating system,

    ignore solar for a min,

if i was to have central heating, is it possible to have the stove select only 4-5 rads to output heat to, but still be on the central heating system.

I know of a few poeple scratching their heads over this (selfbuilders)

    any advice helpful. . . .
better still, if you could give me the basic steps i could relay the info ..

I have this in my system, all i know is i have a 2 coil cylinder. One of the coils goes to my stove and the other coil goes to my oil boiler.

    I have 2 pumps and 2 thermostats.

I'm not a plumber so i have a very limited understanding of how it all fits together.

I have been told that as my stove is for 6 rads it is dangerous to leave any less than that amount of rads open. This is where i began to get confused.

Speak to a plumber who has put in these systems to be safe.

    hmmmmm. . .

not many plumbing heads.. . .

for information. . what i have read since posting this,.

    1. triple coil cycliner, one for oil boiler, one for solar and one for stove.

    thats it. . lol.. . . thats how far i have got. . .

    to recap. .

Ill have a normal oil central heating system. . and the solar for hot water. .

but, , i want the stove in the living room to heat directly 4-5 rads ONLY. .

    cheers. .

ps.. . one thing i have read and thats "just adding the stove into the system" but what good is a tonne of constantly luke warm water. ..
i think we can all agree that heating water in the tank is easy. . . but getting the temp into the rads is a struggle, , , hence 4-5 rads only. . i want them to be good and hot. .
