    I've been looking for a Sony ear piece for the PS3, but couldn't find one.
    Anyone know the best place to get one and are they better quality than the unofficial ones out there

    Any bluetooth headset will work. I bought one for €15 in a petrol station and it works fine with the PS3, sound quality, both outgoing and incoming is perfect.

    The official headset is great, I haven't come across any headset better than it. I got mine with Socom over Christmas for €30 incl the game. Might be able to find a good deal with it. I think Game have MAG with the headset for €65, can't go wrong with that.

    The socom bundle is being discontinued but i got it on Amazon a month ago for around 30 euro

    I got the official sony one in gamestop a few weeks ago. The sound quality is better than the old sony ericcson headset I was using and the docking stand is well handy to keep it charged.

    Go for the official headset as its miles above the rest. It has an on screen status display, long battery, anti static and can be used while its charging in the dock. I have a standard phone one and the geotek one, and this beats both of them

    Thanx for the info lads, I was in Liffey Valley today couldn't find the Sony one.
    Game, HMV and argos didn't stock them. I refrained from buying the imitation ones. Will check amazon
    Ordered one from Play.com for €23.49, amazon were looking for €29

    Argh I "misplaced" my headset in a temper earlier :P Threw it across the room and now I can't find it. Let me know if you find a good deal! Play.com says it takes 3-5 weeks to dispatch, don't want to wait that long for the sake of a fiver or so.

    I had a Jabra one that i got with Warhawk and got the offical Sony one too.
    The sony one is a lot better..........
    That MAG deal sounds the best ever !

    I think that's what she said anyway when I was buying the game, I remember being annoyed because I'd only bought the SOCOM bundle about 3 weeks before and had yet to use the headset or play SOCOM :P It may have been €70, not sure.

    Yes it came out on the 29th of January and is awesome :P

    I ended up ordering a Turtle Beach headset for my PS3. Had plugged in my Xbox ones for a while playing MAG and damn it was good, so picked up a set for €75 from Videogamesplus. My credit card is cowering in fear at the moment!
