eMachines, they feel like toys and are very basic. That 1.6 Athalon is a joke nowadays.

Is portability important? You'll get a lot more for your money with desktops, but if you do wan mobility then have you considered netbooks?

I've already got a desktop but I'm looking to get laptops for my boys that they can use them in their rooms or in living room/kitchen.

HDMI out - Got a flat screen in the living room?
