What is the earliest date in a pregnancy an induction can legally be performed?
The baby won't survive the birth and the mother is looking at all her options.

That is a very sorry case to hear about.
The problem about delivering early is how developed the baby is.
From 34 weeks it's lungs are fully developed and the baby is at a lot less of a risk.
Under that there are all sort of complications and the baby may need to be in intensive care
and really the medical team are the best people to talk to.

If it is the case were no matter what is done the baby for what ever reason has not developed correctly and will not live then it is a case of talking to the team about the options and if the unfortunate woman does not wish to continue the pregnancy to a 'natural' still birth then she may ask for a referral to the U.K.

To be honest, I think that none of us here can answer that question with complete certainty.

Has the person been told that after her baby is born that nothing will be done to save it's life or that it will actually be stillborn?

They really need to sit down with their health professionals and ask all questions they want, maybe make a list before hand so they cannot get sidelined by the doctors and they can move onto the next question easily. Very tough situation to be in.
