Citreon Xantia problem

    My friend has a 00 Citroen Xantia Diesel with a problem.It drives for a few miles and cuts out and the fuel injector lights come on.It will only start when the key is taken out and put back in again.He has two keys and its behaves the same rgardless of which key is in use.Has anyone any idea what the problem migh be?

    Cold be anything....:confused:...maybe fuel related...was the fuel filter
    replaced lately....The light your discribed must be the eml light....??
