Going to work in England...

I've been thinking about this for a while now and have decided to go for it, I work in construction and as everyone knows there's literally no jobs here at the moment. I'm working on a large construction project in dublin at the minute but when that finishes in a few weeks thats it then its either go on the dole or go abroad to work.

Im looking for a bit of advice regards what to put on my CV. I've applied for a few jobs in england already, got called for an interview for one last week, the position itself was in london but the interview took place here in their irish office. It went really well, only to be told yesterday that they really liked me and would have given me the job but decided to give the job to someone who was more local (i.e. living in england) on the grounds that he could go straight in and do the job, rather than me having to fly over, try find accomadation, get settled in, etc etc.

So basically before i apply for any more jobs over there im asking peoples opinions on what address should i put on my CV? I have a friend's relation in London who says i can use his address but if i put that address on the cv then i would have to say im out of work as how could i be living in london and working in dublin. Would it be seen as odd or suspicious by potential employers to have two addresses on your cv, one in dublin and one in london, is that a no no for a cv??

Anyway sorry for the long post, any opinions appreciated, thanks
