Im looking to get a new board I was looking at Shallow reef but as far as I know they a Chinese and crap and ideas where would be best to pick one up?

You could do a lot worse than buy one from a local shaper. They will make you a far superior board than any of the plastic things you see on the shop racks. Talk to the shaper and be honest about your ability and they will make you a board that you will cherish.
