not a movie chase, but the scene in South Park where Cartman and Kenny in a toy car are chased by the police on the way to mexico always has me in stitches.. "THEY'RE GONNA RAM US!"

I'm going to agree, whenever I hear the words Car Chase I always think of the Blues Brothers. Best Car Chase scene ever!

Ronin was one big car chase of a movie. Brilliant stuff.

I saw a great one in a French movie called Taxi.

Oh and original Italian job anyone?

Two of my favourites chase scenes, The French Connection and Bullitt.
+1 for The Blues Brothers one too :)

    Why was it locked???

I PM'd faceman and asked why it was closed and I got a prompt reply.

Which was long but this line was in it

As you can see from the forum the past few days, once one list goes up then it usually spawns another that is semi related. It then clogs the forum with pointless threads.

It was a thread about best car chases and I started one about foot chases. Both were closed

I asked why 'what have you watched recently' was not closed because it was a list too.

All of Vanishing Point. It's definitely up there as one of my favourite movies. You don't find many existential adrenaline flicks these days.

Its not really a chase, well it is kinda, but the scene where Tom Cruise has to leg it along a river in Mission:Impossible 3 is all kinds of awesome, that guy can run seriously fast the camera is barely able to keep up with him, cant find a youtube clip though, bah

The French Connection's car chase - a classic.

The highway chase in To Live and Die in LA.

T2's final chase - very intense.

Tell No One - a brilliant foot-chase through the streets of Paris.

The charter has been recently amended (thank Christ by the way) that pointless list threads without discussion are against forum rules.
