Yep you read right, 15 full size bars for €3.25, 22cent per bar! some others were in the offer, I think it was big packs of M&Ms, possibly revels must be some other mars brands.

And I just started a new diet last week  still went and got 45 bounties...

EDIT: this was tesco ballybrack, see comments below some places are 2 for €3.25

    Rubadub,

Got these 2 weeks ago in Tesco Clearwater. Went back in on Wednesday of this week and the sign was changed to 2 packs/multibars/bags for €3.25. So watch out as I enquired and was told that it was an error on their labelling system that was rectified. The Tesco website also shows the offers as 2 for €3.25. (Still a good offer all the same)

    Cheers,

Yeah forgot to mention this. The bounties said 2 for €3.25 but around the corner was snickers with 3 for €3.25 and that label listed bounties and the others. One the aisle with the bounties all the other bars had a big 3 drawn in marker over the 2.

My 9 packs were 9x€2.08 = €18.72 and €8.97 was taken off the end, so it was correct. I was hoping it would be wrong and I would possibly get them all free. I was in tesco ballybrack.

Yeah I picked up 3 packs of 'More Nuts' snickers in DL Bloomfield a week or so ago. Somehow they are still unopened, but don't know how long my willpowoer will last. It was just too cheap to pass up (even if my waistline disagrees! :o) Sure just think of all the healthy fats from the peanuts (and cocnut in the case of Bounties)!

I don't see anything particularly special about the offer. My local Dunnes have Mars and Snickers 5 pack plus 2 free bars at €1.89 and €1.99 respectively. Also I know its not the forum for mouthing off on rip offs but its a pharse that Tesco had a high level advertising campaign not too long ago stating how they were to reduce their prices while the prices of many of their own brand products were bumped up...many considerably.

Well you're not looking very closely if you don't see the offer, in Tesco you got 15 full size bars for €3.25 or 21.6 cent each, your ones in Dunnes even with the 2 free bars work out at 27 cent or 28.4 cent each :)

3 packs for €3.25 also in Mahon. They also had Double Twix x 5, Galaxy Ripple and 170g bag minstrels in a different 3 for €3.25 offer, that's what I got:) Doesn't seem like you can mix the 2 offers btw.

Tesco would pick the eye out of your head. Demons. Thanks for the bargain but they are so smart they change it and nobble you. I can't stand Tesco for this.

I seen it closely enough when I was in my local Tesco IrishTonyO. Two 5 pack bars for €3.25 (32.5 cent per bar). The Dunnes price works out at 27 cent a bar on the Mars and 28.4 cent a bar on the Snickers.

Whats that all about? Different prices in different outlets. Pretty much says it all about Tesco to me.

It's 3 packs for €3.25 in my store same as the title of this thread

Listen every Tesco are selling them for €3.25 for 3 packs, Every price in every Tesco are exactly the same, Its not exactly Spar with different offers in different stores, Some stores are having problems with the SEL displaying correctly, many stores have displayed 2 for 3.25 purely by mistake, I actually asked a store manger about this.

And also what's with all the haters. If Tesco was not in this country Dunnes would be taking every penny you have of you

I don't see that as a good offer. Don't think its worthy of bargain alerts.

The reason I'm no longer a fan of Tesco is because I see their tactics as underhand and misleading. A high profile advertising campaign not too long back on how they were going to slash prices while in reality they bumped up the prices of many products, in particular their own brand products.

A moot point I think really. If Dunnes was not in the country do you think Tesco would be doing you any favours either. Certainly not I think my friend. Think we'll all agree that making as much money as possible is top of the agenda for both and that healthy competition is good for the customer.

15 bars for €3-25 is not a bargain to you , would you rather pay 90cent each in your local Spar, etc....

Then report the post if its such a non-offer.

But the thing is that seemingly its not the case that it 15 bars for €3.25 but 10 bars for €3.25 or varies from Tesco to Tesco or is the case that is an error with the SEL's where the 3 packs are advertised at €3.25 as pointed out by another poster a read down through the the thread. And no I wouldn't pay 90 cent per bar in Spar or in €3.25 for 10 bars in Tesco when I can get 7 in Dunnes for €1.89 for the Mars and €1.99 for the Snickers.

Then don't! start a thread for the ones in Dunnes

Hey, as its bargain alerts and the whole idea of discussion thread is to stimulate debate/ discussion on what is/ is not a bargain!
