twin wall fire regs

    Hi,
I Hope some may have came across this here and would appreciate their comments before proceeding with installation.

I plan to have a sealed stove internally in a timberframe without a conventional chimney breast. I plan to use twin wall 150mm flue pipes with a free standing stove. My flue manufacturer has stipilated that they be 80mm from combustabiles. Unfortunately i cant see this anywhere in the regs.
I have gone through part J regs from 1997. They only reference a flue and not necessary a twin walled flue. With that they recommend it to be 3 times D away from the wall if it is of combustable material . I assume D means diameter.
This causes an issue as if i keep the 450mm away from the plasterboarded stud it starts to push the unit very far out into the room. In total the unit will be closer to 1.2 metres from itsfront fact to the wall. It also causes an issue with the first floor joists whom I had initially left an opening for blockwork.
Lastly, what constitutes a fire shield as i have seen this here also.

I am employing a stove_man from Galway to fit these units but would like to have the knowledge, as my control officer from the council is due for a visit.

I hope anyone can comment here whom have worked with twinwall and free standing stoves without a conventional block breast.
    Kind Regards,
    Homewardbound11
