Wanted for music and leisure, a drummer in Cork

Hello.

We are a punk/post-hardcore band based in Cork with plenty of original material looking for a drummer who is fleixible and open-minded and the like. Our influences include Reuben, Biffy Clyro, Rise Against, latter-day blink-182, Coheed & Cambria, Warped Tour bands 2000-2004 and Manic Street Preachers. Also, not to be a pain but we really would prefer if you have finished up with secondary school - we've had a lot of grief because of other people's exams in the past. For the record, we (two guitarists and bassist) are 20.

We are kind of based in the Carrigaline/Crosshaven area which is a bit out of the way but we sometimes rehearsed in Richie's rooms in the Showgrounds and later Blackpool so we're no strangers to the commute. Where are you based?

Yeaaah im down in Clonakilty, hopefully gonna be in ucc though so just waitin on that to move up to the city. Had a listen to yer old stuff on the myspace, id be more into the faster punk stuff and melodic hardcore (a wilhelm scream, no trigger) and hardcore punk (like kid dynamite and stuff) , though i do love Reuben and biffy and that. even early rise against stuff i guess, or bullet treatment, that tim whatshisname was also in. be less into the emo-ey stuff, (im not talking my chemical underpants, but you know what i mean!)

dunno how ye feel about that, thought id throw it out there anyway!

Hey lads, I'm moving to the city come next month, and everything sounds quite promising from the description! I've quite a bit of gigging experience myself in quite a few genres! I'm big into Reuben, Biffy and Coheed meself, so it all sounds rather tasty I must say! That is, if ye're still looking of course!
