As per many of these threads on here!

Just wanted to scout against the wind on hope that someone may be genuine enough to return this, considering it was taken from my pocket walking from a nightclub in West Dublin.

Thankfully cctv captured it and we are currently in the process of trying to narrow the identity down.

Regardless of this i would prefer the lack of cr@p involved and hope someone will return

It was 3gs 8kg IMEI no: <snip: posting IMEI is not a good idea> black and unfortunately jailbroken.

Has been network locked but im sceptical of networks actually completing this bar, id had a red cover on it which was cracked and taped together but this has more than likely been dumped, the back of the phone was fairly scratched and scuffed too.

Decent reward offered if returned

With there value the iphones seem to be highly sought after by thiefs Dani, I know of one of 2 people that had their phones taken off them by young gangs who spotted them using the phone.

Jez i can go nowhere!!

Yea just on an off-chance here tbh. Id just put it back in my pocket after getting a number from it, walked off, felt someone touch my ass, turned and seen nothing and wasnt quick enough to realise it had gone as id had it in my front pocket all night, just habit i suppose

I have removed your IMEI. Posting it on a public forum is not a good idea, especially if you get the phone back.

Because you have the IMEI you can approach the operators if you can prove you own the phone.

They can either blacklist (ban) or greylist (allow access but identify the MSISDN (phone number)) on their EIR (Equipment Identity Register).

You keep letting too many strangers touch your nice bum :P

Now back on topic... did you setup a mobile me account?
If so it has a tracker built in for finding lost/stolen phones.

Oh and if you need help in ID'ing let me know ;)

Sorry just thought it would have helped track it.
