Any one know the name of that movie that was made in Ireland, specifically Galway there a couple of months ago with Colin Farrel and Brendan Gleeson? I know there was a thread about it in here somewhere but can't seem to find it anywhere!!!!!! Just saw him on the Late Late show there but between dogs barking, phones…

I know there was a thread about it in here somewhere but can't seem to find it anywhere!!!!!!

Just saw him on the Late Late show there but between dogs barking, phones ringing, people talking, I didn't get a chance to hear him talking about it, and I can't seem to find it on Google.

Movie is called "The Guard". Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle star in it. It was filmed in different locations around Galway, Eddie Rockets in Wellpark being one of them.

The film he was talking about on The Late Late Show was Ondine .I think they mentioned it was shot in Cork.

No, there was no mention of a film starring both Gleeson and Farrel on the Late Late (unless I went temporarily deaf and didn't hear it). I was just letting the OP know he was talking about Ondine on the show.

I don't think Colin Farrel and Brendan Gleeson starred together in any film that was shot in Galway. Afaik there was a rumour that Colin Farrell was in town at the same time as Brendan Gleeson when he was shooting The Guard. Someone on boards.ie asked if they might be starring in something together here but nothing was ever confirmed. This is the only mention I ever heard of it.

I might be wrong of course but I think that was the story in the end.
