Car TV Ads - The good, the bad and the ugly!

I saw these ads online recently and it got me thinking about car TV ads in general. Are there any original, creative and inspiring ads out there at the moment??

IMO these are apalling ads. They are being shown on American TV at the moment. The first one shows a dad beating his son at a game, an idiot pushing himself infont of someone to get to a lift and some sad individual that reacts to getting a piece of paper in the bin as if has scored the winning goal in the world cup final. These are not the sort of people most of us aspire to be and therefore the point the ad is trying to acheive seems to have backfired.

The second ad seems to insult the very cutomers Audi are trying to attract! I know these ads are aimed at a US audience, but they are seriously weak and do nothing to create a positive image of the Audi brand.

Great thread. Skoda have a few good ads at the minute. Is there a thread anywhere for old car ads. I loved the 405 one

There's not out anymore i don't think but i loved the Citreon C4 ad where it turned into a dancing transformer.
And the Skoda Fabia where they baked a cake of it.

The Audi ads are very good. Wish the law allowed for similarly comparative ads here.

I love the bollocks one and the audi vs dog in ice one.

I though the second one in the first post was good once they made the BMW reference.

The EU VAG ads seem to be much better.

The best ad that I can remember was from last year.
It must have been meteor and vodafone but the one where they are peeling the red paint off the front doors to reveal the orange paint that vodafone painted over the week before.

I thought that was a good ad. Well, pretty crap since I cant remember who the companies were haha.
