Went a bit overboard with the drink this week (LIT Rag week). Can't eat at all even though I'm starving. What a terrible feeling, does anybody here know of any cures?

    Yeah - abstinence! :D
Sorry, I don't really mean that. Get yourself to a pharmacy (or get a friend to go for you) and pick up some Motilium - it's an anti nausea tablet that you can get over the counter. Try to drink some whole milk a while after taking it, take a short nap and you should be less shaky within the hour.

Isotonic drink of some sort is actually better than water.

    Drink loads of that.

Hope you behaved yourself during rag week!

Try eating some dry toast or bread. Should stay down. You'll end up feeling sick with hunger if you don't eat at all

This probably makes me sound like an alco but I often find if I'm still really hungover the evening after a night out, the hair of the dog is the best trick. It's tough going for the first few sips but a glass of wine for me works wonders...then order a Chinese.

Crawl into the fetal position and rock back and forth until the pain subsides. It helps if your hands are clutching your head. Now do this for six hours and you'll be fine

Fried eggs and a chopped fresh chilli & a glass of orange juice.. always works for me anyway

Nah, just on top of the fried eggs. tbh I heard of it on Red Dwarf so it could be a placebo :pac: but chilies are supposed to be high in antioxidants

That's probably why a 3-in-1 with extra curry sauce works so well.

Try not to drink too much water or energy drink at one time because your stomach is in shock lol it'll want to get rid of it. Take a few sips every 15 minutes.

I used to take a slice or 2 of ham just to get the stomach back in order.

Don't be drinking ice cold water.

The best I've seen was a mate who crashed on my couch and was so hungover the next day he could barely move.

I took pity and gave him a painkiler pill (of opiate, prescription kind) - he even vomited that back up!
