best tv 32" for 500

    got a budget my dad is looking for a new tv for his bedroom, wondering whats the best bang for buck at the min

    must be ready for irish dtt

    so tell me please what to spend his money on?

    This would get my vote. Fantastic Full-HD set for little money. Nothing else would come close on picture quality for 450€ although seeing as its only gonna be a bedroom tv, and presumably no HD sources at all, its questionable whether full hd is needed at all and a cheaper hd ready set may make more sense. Whats more the sound quality wouldnt be fantastic on that samsung so a tv with better sound might be better as there wouldnt be a home cinema system in the mix. In that case maybe something like this would suite better:

    Both of those are DTT ready btw

    There are HD sources then, and PC use, in that case, I'd definitely go for a 1080p set. The sound is probably fine for bedroom use alright and for only that much more its a far better telly than the LG

    Doubt you'd find that samsung for less up north, €450 is seriously good value for that set
