    Does anybody know the average cost of drilling a domestic well in the galway area?

    Depends on the area- where the water table is, whether you're planning on lining the well, the water flow you require, the pump you want to use, pump house, electricity supply- etc......

    Your question is a little like asking how much an average freezer for icecream costs- when we don't know whether you have a single icepop in mind, or plan to wholesale icecream from the unit.........
