Has anyone ever used this measure? I'm currently working with Madissons (i know...) historical dataset and GDP is measured in (1990 Int. GK$). How do I convert this to say, 1985 USD? Thanks.

Convert it into the currency year's US dollars on a 1:1 basis and deflate backwards/inflate forwards to 85?
