Hi, I know there's a thread about training contracts and assume that much of the same said there also applies here but I was just wondering if anyone could throw out any advice or hints?

I've got quite good academic results [I'm in my third year of four] and a decent employment record [as in I've always had a job] but nothing legalistic and not many extra-curricular activities from college [have others from outside college].

    So my main questions are:

1: how likely is it that someone would get caught out for exagerating participation in activities like Moot Courts, Debates, etc?

2: What do companies like hearing as answers to questions like "outline the steps you have taken to research the legal profession"; "what skills do you have that make you suited to working as a summer intern with this firm" and "what attracts you to firm X"?

Cheers in advance for any help received.
