Penis problem

So, I've noticed over the past year that my libido has waned a tad (male, late twenties here btw) It didn't disappear or anything just tame compared to what it used to be, I also had one or two experiences of getting a 'Mr Soft' during sexual encounters in the same year but put it down to tiredness or whatever. At the time these things never registered but something happened recently which has made me reflect on a few things..

Anyways, a friend of mine mentioned a natural/herbal pill or aphrodisiac in conversation recently and for a laugh I took one not expecting much. Strangely enough it was quite the opposite (apologies for the icky details that follow -) basically I was vibrating with desire for the girl in question and sporting the hardest shaft I've had since I was sixteen!! To top it off I was up for it for hours and enjoyed multiple sessions with said girl, plus a lap of glory the morning after. All good you might say, and it is but it made me aware of how different things had been in the sack of late...

The experience I had taking that supplement has made me think about my own sexual health and if perhaps I should get some form of checkup, I'm thinking I might be running low in the testosterone department the past while or something and it's freaking me out.

Has anyone experienced anything similar and have you got any advice you could offer? - thanks in advance if you do.

    Cheers peops

How's your diet and your exercise? The older you get, the more impact these have. I've noticed a significant difference when I'm in shape versus out of shape.

Well, a male's sex drive is generally lower in his late 20's than it is in his teens or early 20's.

I personally think it's a good idea to get a blood panel done every couple of years, even for those of us who are younger ( I'm 32 myself ) Your situation could just be stress, a normal change, etc. BUT, things like high blood pressure or being overweight can affect sex drive and/or erections. And as you pointed out, so can your hormone levels, not just testosterone but estrogen, progesterone, etc.

I take testosterone for cosmetic/bodybuilding purposes and my sex drive still isn't like it was when I was 19 or so.

On a side note, I've used Viagra before just to try it out and it worked pretty well but gave me a MASSIVE headache afterwards.

OP here, I hear ya about the exercise and diet aspect - I thought mine wasn't that bad tho... Not sure I'm too happy about a diminishing mojo this young!? - Must up the exercise and healthy foods then :)

@ BangBangDead: not sure if I can type product names on here (can I?) so I'll list the ingredients - hope this helps

Siberian Ginseng, Kwaopet, Saw Palmetto, Rhodioal Rosea, Wild Yam, Ashwagandha Root

    Cheers

But won't taking this actually stop your bodies natural testosterone production? So when you stop taking it, you will be producing little or no test. of your own while you are waiting for your natural production of test. to kick back in, and hope that it produces as much as it should..

Correct. Introducing outside testosterone or other anabolics signal your body to stop producing so much, as it's receiving an excess. Without going into detail, as to not cause controversy, the goal is to use other substances that restore testosterone production when coming off steroids. You would never want to come off of steroids and not use other post cycle substances.
