TR6 Radio

    Hi Guys, just wondering does anyone know where i can get an original radio for a TR6? Or if not an original a replica old radio with the two large front dials one for power and one for tuning?? any advice would be great. Thanks

    Lots of them on ebay. But check for polarity. Radios were not original. Radiomobile and Motorola would have been commonest dealer fitments. Towards the end of their run radio cassette players were also on the market, mainly Japanese. You could possibly get an 8-track which would really look period but getting tapes is the problem.

    I have a Motorola that was in my GT6 - its got a tape player and pre-set buttons. I've no idea if it was factory/dealer fitted or was fitted later but its definitely the right era - give me a shout if JoeSully's doesn't suit

    FM/MW/LW auto-reverse tape working. It has power for auto up/down aerial also
