New car buying advice - paperwork

A relative bought a new car recently, over the phone, deposit paid. She never visited the dealer. She has a receipt from the main dealer (typed letter on company letterhead) but it does not stipulate the agreed price. She was assured the agreed price would stand, even if the price went up in the interim, it's a 12 week factory order.

Should she be looking for something more official with the price indicated on it?

From hers and the dealers point of view it would be much better to have it on the receipt, I'd get her to contact them and say she wants an invoice with the total.
