After having failed to hammer a poor England team at home South Africa had a chance to regain the No: 1 world test ranking in India.Having thrashed India in the 1st test they had them on the ropes on day 1 of the 2nd test...SA were 220 for 1 but still contrived to lose the test match by an innings!!

What a great advert for test cricket this thrilling match was....whoever said that Test cricket is dead needs to have their heads examined!!

Just a pity that the two best teams in the world only managed a two test series between them!
