    Hi all,

Ok, relatively new to the world of online sellling (have bought once or twice but not recently) and have a question. If I auction stuff on ebay.com, will it show up on ebay.co.uk and other regional ebays?

The ad is written, formed, saved, ready to go, juts not sure where the best site to list it with it...

Sorry if this is a stupiud question or has already been covered!

    Cheers,

    P.

So you want to sell and post stuff to America in preference to Ireland?

I want to sell it in the place where it gets the best exposure.

I usually go with .com or .co.uk where it appears has always seemed a black art to me, I really do not know how it works and did try figuring out once.

All I know is if you know how to search on ebay properly you can find all listings (using advanced search). Problem is most people do not know about this, most people have no idea how ebay works in general, I see people using it in work and can usually get their items 10-30% cheaper than what they were about to pay. One FOAF got about 10 items in completely different auctions for average €210 while I got them all for €160, he didn't search well at all.

Thanks for that. It's not exacrtly the most user-friendly website I've ever come across...

If you list an item on eBay.com and say that you'll ship to the UK, the item will also be searchable on eBay.co.uk. If you list your item on eBay.com, you should remember that the price will be listed in USD, whereas if you list it on eBay.ie, it'll be listed in EUR.

You could list it on eBay.ie and say you'll ship to the US if you want it visible on eBay.com though you may have to pay a small fee for US/Canada visibility.

Even if you are selling in Ireland you can list it in Ebay.com or ebay uk instead.
Even if you list in ebay ie it can show up in ebay com but it will be further down the list and will show international sellers
