Do the 16 or 16a run close to DCU

Have to head over to DCU tomorrow. I'm on the 16/16a route and am wondering if they go close to DCU?

Yeah, both will drop you within 10/15 minutes of DCU

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

If you get out at the stop at the Viscount pub, walk a couple of yards to the busy junction and take a left. Its about a 5 minute walk up Collins Avenue. If its the Sports grounds you are looking for, the 16/16A is not really suitable unless you want a 20 minute walk.

If you can, the 4/4a/11/11a/11b/13/13a/19a will drop you closer. But you can also get the regular 16 to Shanard as well (second last stop, I think) and then walk down to DCU.

    Your mad! 5min walk!

Spot on! and if you miss that stop its 10min back from the terminus!

Great thanks, the Dublin Bus site didn't have the 16/16a on the buses that serve DCU.

16a leaves you at the viscount as above. it also goes to the terminus. 3 a day goes to the industrial estates but these are at rush hour

If in doubt ask the driver.

16a goes out to the airport you'd be a lot longer than 10 minutes walking from there

Its only a 5..max 10 minute walk up Collins Ave. Get off at the next stop, the one just past the lights at the junction :pac:

That would be my advice. Second last stop on the 16 (Shanard Rd) is about 5 or 6 mins walk from DCU.

i would advise getting off at the viscount, it may be 5 minutes longer to walk but it will take and extra 10-15 mins to get the 16 all the way around beaumount and back onto shanard road

lol....Yes forgot that one. But did not think it was all them. Will have to check the timetable ;)

Anyway..There is a sh1t load of 16's for those santry folk....

Just checked.....16a does not turn left after the commet but you could get it to the viscount. However if you fooked up your right the airport is not the place to do electronic engineering.
