    hey there,
I've got my driving test coming up in a few months but need driving lessons!!! i'm really nervous on the road and need to build my confidence more than anything.. i've had a international license a few years ago but they expire after one year so have been off the road (and barely was on the road anyways!!)...

Who is the best driving instructor and easy to drive with?!?!

    Thanks!!!

My mam passed her test with a guy called Chris O`Sullivan, think the name of the driving school is Right Gear. She spoke very highly of him.

<snip> Numbers by PM only please

I found David Ryan brilliant, I must say he's direct and blunt but good at what he does, passed 1st time with him.

My OH went to Rod Williams and found him to be really good.

David Ryan from me too.....when i moved back to Ireland i must say it was kinda comforting to see him still driving around! Blunt, yes, but great guy - confidence gets a real boost from him :)

Rodney Williams is fantastic, hadn't a clue what I was doing when I started lessons, after 8 weeks I had passed my test!

    He's a real gentleman too :)

just as a matter of interest how long is the waiting time for the test in the carlow at the minute do people think? and also, would you recommend a time of day to try push for to get the test? I know carlow is meant to be a tough place to take it and I live near bunclody but assume I can only really do it in carlow town...
By the by, Margaret is the name of an instructer-if you goldenpage driving instructors in carlow you'll see her number. She's deadly, very sound and prices are grand and she (used to) offer student rates too!!
