    Hey all,

Have any of you posted home clothes whilst abroad? I have bought a new suit in Vietnam and would like to send it home to Ireland. If I wrapped it up, would regular post be safe? Obviously, I'm trying to keep costs down here.

If not, do any of you know any cheap delivery companies? I am going to be in Sydney soon so I could post from there if it's cheaper.

Have any of you posted clothes from Australia?

    Thanks,
    Walrus

My sister mailed stuff to Ireland from Perth last year including clothes and lots more. I'm not sure exactly how much it cost but I do remember her saying it wasn't expensive!

I once posted home some gifts, which included fabric and clothes, with no problem using regular post from Vietnam. I've also sent other parcels home in the same way without a hitch. The post office will sort out any wrapping that needs doing. It takes about 2-3 weeks to reach home.

mmm, I am tempted to regular post. No huge loss if it doesn't make home and regular post is much cheaper.
