Hi, anybody out there got any opinions about using the ICF system?
Are there any draw backs to using it?

It's the building equivolent of Lego. I see its major drawback as the potential for having the core concrete exposed at opes and badly designed or positioned wall vents. This can very easily lead to rain damp penetration. I suppose it's like all forms of building, it requires attention to detail.
