Have you ever been played? i.e. Messed around by a lad/lass?

Really, this should be how many times have you been played but it'll be grand.

Anyway, the first time I knew i was being fúcked around was just before Christmas. I ended up giving my original GF the boot, just for one night with this other one that turned out to be messing me about. All the things she was saying I thought, as did all my friends, that it would be concrete. The calls, the texts etc all lead to one thing: What I wanted - something more than the shift. I ended up with nothing. Just being fúcked around by her. Played with like a pornstar's fanny. I promised myself I wouldn't be as stupid again.

Until tonight. I was happy not to go out, happy as a pig in shít. Until my friend thats not from around Dublin begged and begged me to go out. I'm not great friends with her, but I knew the way she was going on that something was going to happen. All this stuff about how much she wanted to see me etc, I agreed and met her in the club. More fúcking about, nothing happened. Just the general messing about.

Are some just meant to be messed about? Some too trustworthy? Or stupid?

I was actually for a brief period (c. 2 months). I kinda figured she was messing me around so I stopped calling as an experiment and, well, she didn't call. Heard from her once since.

A few years later I ended up working with a chap who was apparently going out with her at the exact same time as I was. We had a good laugh about it at the time. He was sound - she, on the other hand, was a total headcase.
