Lets say I have two sets of decimal degrees, is there a formula I can use to calculate the azimuth of point A looking towards point B?

    Thanks

Are you looking to calculate a "great circle" route? If so, the Great Circle Mapper site has a FAQ with the formulas it uses, here.

(The site can do it for you, if you select "distance" at the top. It accepts airport codes as well as decimal coordinates, and displays an initial heading.)
