Aldi 19 TV with PVR record function

    Aldi have a 19 inch TV next Thursday 25th. €169.99 inc prf.

    It does not say if it has a DTT tuner or if it is MPEG4. It has HDMI, and is described as 'HD Ready' Resolution is given as 1400 by 900. Nicam stereo, and 7 day epg. 3 year warranty.

    If it is MPEG4, that is a good price, but it should say so.

    I'd be surpised Sam. Very Surprised. But maybe they are getting with the buzz.

    For an extra 50 you will get one that does actually have MPEG4 capabilities.

    They actually have it described as 7 day EPG!!! Move over Harvey Norman if it just an MPEG2.

    I recently got an LG 19" for €200, MPEG4, red button working for BBC Interactive, nice teletext, etc. Nice TV, instructions and a firmware upgrade from the internet enabled the USB port for watching avi's and a few other formats.

    19LH2000. Not sure about a pvr to the USB function though. Got it for my folks, so won't be able to test that for a few weeks.
