does the absense of a cruciate ligament mean ur golf game is f**ked or are there ways to compensate for such an injury
anyone playing at the min with a damaged/ruptured ACL?
we're all familiar with the tiger injury but i reckon if you build up ur quads sufficiently a typical golfer wouldn't really be too limited
    any thoughts / experience?

I ruptured my left acl when i was 15, and again after surgery when i was 20. Ive continued playing since and the only treatment iv had is some physio work to keep the joint mobile. I did have to build up my quads alright....but it hasnt really affected my golf i think.

Did my right ACL 2 years ago & got it repaired - took about 12 weeks to start hitting balls again - no problem now .. but you have to work on building all the muscles around the knee again - and the quads & hamstrings .. .. I did play a for a while when it was torn but wore a supporting strap on the knee ...
