    ...it's a serious pain. They don't seem to be designed to be user-replaceable.

    Anyway, I just finished it, and this article might come in handy for anyone attempting the same.

    Make sure you get the right screwdrivers; you just need two, a small phillips head one (very small) and a Torx T6. Be careful with the Torx; they are prone to rounding.

    I upgraded my own a few weeks back - it was pretty simple to do. Mac mini upgrades are much more work.
