leupold boone and crockett or varmint reticle

    hi guys

    i am on the look out for a used leupold 30mm , with a boone and crockett or varmint hunting reticle. i have a 6.5-24 x 50 on an hmr and would like something similar.

    How about a VXL 6.5 -20 x 56 with varmint reticle ?

    I found the varmint ret truly excellent. although fine its still very usable at night.

    i find the varmint hunter quite fine as well, hence i would like to try the boone and crockett, i like the varmint reticle and wouldnt disregard it by any means but i think the boone and crockett might be slightly more suited to night shooting for foxes etc.

    any members using one on a .223 ?

    used it on my 223 and taken rabbits out to 200 meters at night
