I got a flotation belt from elverys a few years back, or you could try online from here http://www.swimshop.co.uk/Aqua-Running-Floatation-Belt-PFLOATATIONBELT/

I can try a few places in Cork so, how did you find it? Is it really worth getting? My Physio has directed me to this as a way of running but with out impact. How deep should the water be? ie i am about 5 11

mc I've only used when I'm injured or when I went over on my ankle and couldn't run or swim because my ankle was so sore. When I wrecked my ankle I used to go to the pool three times a week and mainly just go up and down the deep end which is quiet short if you are in a 25 meter pool. I felt like a bit of a fruit cake but I think it definitely helped my general fitness as I was out for about six weeks and when I went back running I didn't feel like I was starting from scratch. thankfully I haven't needed to use it for the last year. I saw on Catherina Mckiernans website she runs courses in it but if you look up the web you can find some work outs.

I'm a member of Mayfield gym in cork and they have the belts next to the pool for anyone to use - you don't have to buy one. I did 40 minutes of pool running today, a tough session as I did some 'sprints' as well. :)
