opening a business bank account

    Hi Guys,

    This may be a very simple question but i just want to be prepared. What exactly do I need to open a business bank account? I've registered my business name and have a certificate, what else will i require when i go into the bank? I'm planning on opening an account in the same branch as i have my personal account.

    ID, a utility bill and the RBN cert should do it

    A copy of your business plan will be needed and dont forget your looking for three years free banking

    Don't think you will need a business plan if you're not looking for credit

    Maybe not for some Banks.AIB look for a business plan.I was not sourcing credit but had to show a Business Plan,

    My experience from some years ago, assuming you don't already have an account with this Bank.

    Bring along a introductory letter from your Accountant.
    your new Company name or business registration certificate.
    your Driving licence or Passport.
    Your ppsi number, & your new vat number if your registered.
    And details of when you are about to start
    Utility bill... and most important.... Cash to lodge to your new business account.
