Hello, would anyone have any idea of where I could get a 1.9 TD engine fitted for my 1994 VW Caravelle (Transporter)? I have spent 2 hours searching the web with no luck!

    Thanks
    DOK

Im no mechanic so this may be something impossible but would a newer (year 2000ish) 1.9 TDI engine fit into your van?

If so that could widen your search and you could have more luck.

The 1.9 was a troublesome engine compared to the 2.4 so your taking a chance buying one that hasent been reconditioned.
Could save yourself alot of money in the long run by going for a recon engine.

would you not be better just to get a van that works instead of throwing money into a very old van
