Better to buy a laptop in Austrailia?

Hello, Im going to be going to Austrailia and I was wondering if it would be better to wait and get a laptop over there or not? Or if anyone knows of a good laptop suitable for just for going on the internet, using Divx to watch movies and at a good price then send us a link please! Thanks

Try ebay. I currently use a Dell C610 1Ghz with 512MB ram, its more than adequate for surfing, downloading and playing movies. I bought 2 a few months ago for < 100euro each. If you get one when you get there you won't need to worry about damage on the way or baggage weight issues
