Emergency passport

I have an emergency passport that is a year long passport.I already used it to go abroad. Can i use it again to travel to Italy or is it a once off thing? Thanks

No, you can use as you would a normal passport provided you return before the passport expires. It's the same as a normal passport besides the fact it's only valid for a year.
